 		Lioncrest Kennels Puppy Commitment Terms

The following form is non binding. As puppies of this breed are in such high demand, you may add your name to our mailing list for litter announcements by letting us know in the "Additional Information" section below. We would like to learn of your interests and get some more information from you to better match you with your new friend. This is simply a preview of our terms prior to sale.

Puppies are sold VBA registered and micro-chipped (optional) along with a packet that includes their vaccination/worming records, care instructions and a small container of dog food to get you started. Puppies will have current vaccinations will be wormed and will be parasite free at time of pickup or shipping. All of our puppies are guaranteed to be in good health and free from visible signs of infection and contagious diseases at time of sale. We guarantee the puppy to be free of any life-threatening congenital defects, for 2 years from date of birth.

In the event a congenital defect is detected within the first 24 months, buyer is guaranteed a replacement puppy within 18 months of the return of the puppy with the defect after a thorough exam by a licensed veterinarian. No replacement will be given if the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered or euthanized without the breeder's permission. The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the same sire and dam of the original puppy, but that Lioncrest Kennels will do everything in its power ensure the buyer is fairly compensated. The return shipping charges are solely the responsibility of the purchaser. The breeder will pay shipping on the replacement puppy.

All returned puppies will be examined by a licensed veterinarian. If it is found that any Lioncrest Kennels bred dog has been neglected, abused or allowed to live in poor health or conditions, Lioncrest Kennels has the right to repossess the dog with no refund to the buyer. Death, injury or loss of any puppy due to theft, carelessness or accident will not be covered by Lioncrest Kennels.

Deposits:
Deposit will be 25% of sellers determined purchase price of puppy. Choice of puppy is determined in the order of the deposit received (first received, first to choose). You will be notified upon confirmed breeding and deposits will be taken once litter is born. Deposits are non-refundable (i.e.: sire/dam pairing does not produce puppies, buyer changes mind, etc.).

Buyer will be supplied with photos of available puppies that are 3 weeks or older. Buyers will be notified when it is time to make a puppy selection. Puppy selection must be made within 48 hours. After 48 hours the right of next choice will be forfeited.

In the event buyer’s chosen puppy is found to have a defect/dies or if the buyer changes mind or wishes to wait on another litter, the buyer may choose from the next available litter or available puppy. This means buyer will be put on our list behind all other buyers that have already paid deposits.

All shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and be aware that weather and holidays may make it difficult to ship on time.

Requirements for validation of the 2 year guarantee

Buyer's Responsibilities:

  • Buyer agrees to take puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a health check within five (5) business days of delivery. If a congenital or serious health defect is found, Lioncrest Kennels must be notified in writing and must receive a report from the attending licensed veterinarian within this timeframe.

  • Buyer agrees to provide regular heartworm prevention, appropriate vaccinations and de-worming. Buyer agrees to feed a quality dog food and provide fresh clean water at all times.

  • Buyer agrees to keep puppy clean and free from fleas/ticks, trim nails, provide regular dental maintenance and clean ears regularly.

  • Buyer agrees to supplement with Canine Discovery (high potency multiple vitamin mineral formulation) and Joint Discovery (connective tissue support formula) or comparable products.

  • Buyer agrees to provide suitable living conditions that are insect free and sanitary. Lioncrest Kennels prefers its dogs be kept as house pets. If dog is to be kept outdoors for over an hour a day, shelter must be provided. Shelter must be capable of maintaining dog’s body heat in cold weather, protect dog from direct sunlight, be dry and contain comfortable bedding material.

  • Buyer agrees to never to knowingly sell or provide any offspring to a pet shop or puppy mill.

  • Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.

  • Buyer agrees to in no way participate in any form of dog fighting with this puppy/dog.

  • If buyer fails to meet any of the above stipulations, this contract is null and void.

  • In the event a dispute the venue must be held in Denton County, Texas. This guarantee applies to the original owner only and is nontransferable.
